Rema (Cannon) Ferguson , age 81, of Reynoldsburg , passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 . She was an active member of Parkview Presbyterian Church, member of Women of the Church, Reynoldsburg Helping Hands, and SCOR . She worked as a legal secretary with the Bricker and Eckler Law Firm and as a school secretary with the Tulsa , Oklahoma Public School System. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Robert “Bob” Ferguson, parents Carl and Mary Cannon, and brother David Cannon. She is survived by sons Jeffrey (Julie) Ferguson and James (Molly) Ferguson; daughter Cynthia Ferguson; 5 grandchildren; brothers Royce Cannon and Dale Cannon; sisters Alveda Van Horn, Arlene Ellis, Linda Williams, and Darelle Decot. Her family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main Street , Reynoldsburg . Her funeral service will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Parkview Presbyterian Church, 6969 E. Livingston , Ave., burial will follow at New Lexington Cemetery .
