Obituary

Robert Craig Kniffin passed to eternal rest on December 30th, 2022, after a long and tenacious fight with leukemia. Bob was born April 16th, 1943, to the late Robert Brooks Kniffin of Utica, New York, and the late Emma May Argabright [Keairns] of Jackson, Ohio.

Bob grew up in Jackson, Ohio and immediately enlisted with the Air Force upon graduating High School in 1961. He met his bride of 57-years, Patricia Ann [Gosling] while stationed near Oxford, England and returned to the United States to start their long and rewarding marriage with humble beginnings back in Jackson, Ohio.

A successful businessman, he and Pat were well known among friends, family and the community as generous givers of their time and resources. Bob and Pat were long standing members of The Groveport Order of Eastern Star, while Bob was also a member of The Reynoldsburg Masonic Lodge and The Aladdin Shrine Temple.

They resided in a few locations around the state of Ohio including Fremont, Lancaster, Dayton, Columbus and Ft. Myers, Florida before returning home to Jackson, Ohio in 2018 for the remainder of their lives together.

Bob is survived by his wife, Patricia “Bleu”, his son Shaun, wife Melissa [Wallace], granddaughter Kaitlyn [High], her husband Adam “Jake” and great granddaughter, Adalynn Jean, grandson Noah and his wife Madison [George], great granddaughters, Blake Michelle and Skyler Bleu.

He is also survived by his son Aaron, wife Michele [Randall], granddaughter Makenna Mae, grandson Cody, grandson Austin and Brooke [Warkwalder], great grandson Carter and great granddaughter Avery, grandson Harrison and Courtney [Shaffer], great granddaughter Elliana and great grandson Kyden.

He is also survived by his brother Keith Argabright of Wellston, his wife Tisha, daughter Mandee Argabright [Karr], granddaughters Camryn JoMay and Reece Kimberly.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother Emma May Argabright, his step-father, Martin “Newt” Argabright and brother Perry M. Kniffin.

Pastor John Hays from Jersey Church will facilitate the Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 29th at 3pm at Cotner Funeral Home | 7369 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 with a visitation time from 1pm to 3pm prior to the ceremony.

Bob's family will be having a gathering for his birthday on April 16, 2023 at 1pm at Hamilton Christian Church, 238 Lenhart Road, Right off of 139, Jackson, Ohio 45640.
