Amy Lynn (Brooks) Carson

Amy Lynn Carson, 47, of Granville, OH left this world to be with God on July 22nd after a six month battle with Stomach Cancer. Amy was born on January 7th, 1977 to Gregory and Malinda Brooks on Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, North Carolina. 

After attending Reynoldsburg schools, she found her career in customer service working for a majority of her time for retail establishments including The GAP, 31 Gifts and finally at Lindsay Automotive. In 2009 she married James P. Carson Jr. Together they became the parents of two amazing daughters; Natalie Marie, 12 and Leah Madelynn, 7.

Amy was preceded to heaven by her father, Gregory Brooks, 61. She is survived by her mother, Malinda Brooks; her brother, Gregory Brooks Jr.; her husband, James P. Carson Jr. and her children, Natalie and Leah. 

Amy's family will receive friends on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 3 to 5:00pm at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, OH, where her funeral service will be held at 5:00pm with Pastor Paul Snoddy officiating. Private inurnment to be held at a later date at Union Evangelical Cemetery, Baltimore, OH.
