Arthur Soroka

Arthur Soroka, age 78, of Reynoldsburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
Arthur was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 10, 1945 to the late Bronik and Loretta (Broski)
Soroka. Arthur was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Soroka. He retired as a
teacher/principal from the Groveport Madison School District. During the summer months, he
also worked as a Park Ranger at Blacklick Woods Metro Park. He was an avid golfer and
caddied during his younger years at the Acacia Country Club in Lyndhurst, Ohio. He enjoyed
summer golf trips with his buddies in the Carolinas and was especially proud of his hole-in-one
on the 13 th hole at Cooks Creek Golf Club in 2011. He also enjoyed attending The Memorial
Tournament with his children over the years. He cared for his parents in their later years as a
devoted son. He liked taking his children and grandchildren to the circus, amusement parks, and
sporting events. He was a very generous man and will be missed.
He is survived by his loving children, daughter Karla (Christopher) Cobel, sons Grant Soroka,
Chad Soroka, Derrick Soroka (Jodi Pleger); sister Darlene Harris (Marty McPeak); grandchildren
Katherine Cobel, Chad Soroka, MacKenzie and Lillie Soroka; nieces Dawn Soroka, Kimberly
Harris-Scaggs (Christopher), Alexandra Harris, and nephew David Harris (Kia Farrell).
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Glen Rest Memorial
Estate, 8029 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
