Ashok Krishna Rao Nowlay

Ashok Krishna Rao Nowlay, 66, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. 

He was born in Chennai, India, he studied in the film institute of Chennai and completed his Bachelors degree in Communications. He is part of the Cine Dance masters and dance directors Union in Chennai. In Columbus he worked in the Comfort Inn Suites hotels.

He was a loving father who worked hard and made many sacrifices to give his children and family a chance for a brighter future. He had a fun loving witty sense of humor, and very jovial in family and friend gatherings. Eager to help others and his caring kind nature came across everyone he met. May he find eternal rest and peace through the after life. 

He is preceded in death and survived by spouse Ponni Nowlay, daughter Sonniya Nowlay, son Amiteesh Nowlay and elder sister Devi Yadav.

His family will receive friends Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
