Obituary

Barbara Lee Epelbaum, 86, of Groveport, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 21, 1936 to Charles and Claudia (Hazlett) Sullivan. Barbara loved cooking and gardening. She enjoyed camping with her family, and spending time with her cats. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending with her granchildren who were the light of her life. Preceded in death by her parents; son Scott Epelbaum; grandson Josh Taylor; sisters Patricia Glanville and Kathleen Kotzin. Barbara is survived by children Brenda (David) Burgoon and Doug (Debbie) Taylor; sister Judy Valentine; granchildren Mike (Krista) Burgoon, Rebecca (Ben) Thorpe, Jason (Kristyn) Taylor, Alexandra Hart, Sophie Epelbaum, and Allison Epelbaum; great-grandchildren Karter, Kail, Ava, Will, Elise, Caleb, Rebekah, Mikah, (and their mother Erin Taylor), Brenden, Kylee, Joseph, Elin, Jonathan, Jaxon, Carmella, Camora, Cali, and Cartyr; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Her family will receive friends on Thursday, July 28, from 2-3pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, where her service will follow at 3pm.
