Obituary

Bill Ray King came into this world on July 26, 1945, in Salyersville, Kentucky, born to the late Chalmer and Annis (Adams) King. He made his triumphant transition to glory on March 19, 2022. Assuredly the angels rejoiced at his arrival.

Bill will be missed by his devoted wife of 58 years, Linda Faye (Barnett) King; his daughter Michelle Renee (Richard) Schultz; daughter-in-law Natalie (Brian) King; grandchildren Levi, Ava, Dylan, Edan, and Brylie; his two sisters Delilah (Donald) Issac and Dianna (Rev. Danny) Hamilton; his brother David (Maria) King; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Bill was greeted in Heaven by his parents and his two sons, Steve and Brian.

Bill graduated from Willard High School in 1964 and later received his Bachelor's Degree in Theology from the International Bible Institute. He was a successful business owner of King's Tire and Service Center before being called into full-time ministry in 1982, where he faithfully served the body of Christ for many years in his role as pastor and board member of the Church Of God.

Bill also hosted weekly television (WSFJ-TV 51) and radio (WCVO) programs and was an active member of his community. He developed a chaplaincy program for the Reynoldsburg Police Department, served on the steering committee for the City of Reynoldsburg Crisis Response Team, and facilitated various race relations studies.

Bill was known for his passion for lost souls. Bill was a man who loved the Lord, his family, church, and community. Because of his faithfulness, many have come to know Jesus. His presence will be missed, but his impact will live on for eternity.
