Brant J. Kennedy

Brant J. Kennedy, 61, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Brant was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was hardworking. Brant loved working on cars, playing golf, watching football and talking politics. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Judith; sister Julie; brother-in-law Phil Batten; and sister-in-law Kathy Casto.

Brant is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Paula; beloved daughters Tonda (Mike) Shaw, Kathryn (Luke) Helwig, Elizabeth (Ryan) Messmer, and Lindsay (Travis) Ortman; grandchildren Eden, Violet, Micah, Gavin, Ember, Max, and Rudy; sister Laura Kennedy (Jim) Soque and her daughter Grace; mother and father-in-law Kathryn and Paul Casto; sisters and brothers-in-law Penny (Denny) Berger, Delta Batten, Willard (Judy) Casto, and Nancy (Steve) Miller; dear friend Dave Davis; and West Virginia parents Albert and Regina Hrytzik.

Brant’s family will receive friends 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Cotner Funeral Home 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg where his funeral will follow at 5 p.m.
