Carolyn Jean Harwood

Carolyn Jean Harwood, 78, of Pataskala, OH passed away Friday, January 26, 2024.

Carolyn was born January 3, 1946, in Portsmouth, OH, the daughter of Lawerence and Martha Thomas.  Carolyn was the last of 8 siblings from the Thomas clan.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Mary (Thomas) Hamilton, Dorothy “Dottie” (Thomas) Kirsch, and infant sister Charlotte and by brothers, David, Lawerence “Bud”, Gary, Roger, and Benny.

She will be missed by her loving husband of 58 years, Jimmy; sons: Kevin (spouse: Lori) and Brian (spouse: Lori King), grandchildren: Samantha, Katelynn (Harwood) Fleming, Daniel Milborn, and Christopher; great-grandchildren: Zander, Leo, Abigail, Emma, Peyton, Waylon and Lainey with many nieces and nephews.

She was a caring and devoted wife, mother, Mamaw, and Gigi. Carol enjoyed visits to the beach, organizing family events, crafts of all kinds, camping, trips to Amish country, and needle-pointing pillowcases.

A memorial will be held from 1p to 3p, Friday, February 9th, 2024 at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.  In place of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in the name of Carolyn Harwood.
