Carroll F. Dixon, 83 of Canal Winchester, OH passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on June 17, 2025. He was born October 10, 1941 in Bellevue, Ohio. He was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. Carroll was a graduate of the class of 1961 at McArthur High School in McArthur, OH.
Carroll was the owner of Davis Trucking and Delivery for over 60 years. He was in the Furniture delivery and repair business for over 60 years. He loved working in his huge garden every year, repairing furniture, taking care of his yard and always working hard. He loved decorating his house for all the holidays, especially Christmas. We will miss all of your silly sayings. He never met a stranger and was always willing to offer a helping hand.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years Juanita P. Dixon; His parents John Amos Dixon and Carolyn June Chesser Dixon; Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law Emmitt B. and Mary Alice Wilkes; Brothers: Roger Dixon, John Dixon Jr., Sisters: Judy Harvey, Patty Canada, Chris Crawford, Jennifer Dixon, Helen Secoy; Brother-in-laws: Willard Harvey, Dewey Canada, Stanley Wilkes; Son-in-Law: Bill Price; Nephew: Danny Wilkes.
Carroll is survived by his loving daughters, Tracey Price of Forest City, NC, Jolene (Gary Sutton) of Fremont, IN, Carol nickname Tootie (Humberto Velasquez) of Canal Winchester, Stephanie (Robert) Neville of Canal Winchester; three wonderful grandchildren which were the light of his life, Kaitlin (Matt Wilson) Dixon, Angel Neville, and Charles Neville; Step-Grandchildren Lexie and Bradley Sutton; Pet Dog: Sugar Bear; Brother: Jim Dixon; Sisters: Jane (Dean) Harvey of Ratcliff, OH, Tonya Dixon of Dundas, OH; Brother-in-law: Steve Secoy of Athens, OH; Nephews: Ronnie Wilkes of Steubenville, Zack (Catie) Wilkes of Crestview Hills, KY, Zeb (Brandy) Wilkes of Baltimore, OH, Jeremiah (Ashley) Wilkes of Blacklick, OH; Niece: Pam of Coldwater, MI; Many more nieces and nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 22 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main St., Reynoldsburg, Ohio, where the service will be Monday, June 23 at 11 a.m. Interment in Kirkersville Cemetery.
He will be sadly missed by all.
