Charles Wade

Charles Wade, 55, of Columbus, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 15, 1969. He loved sports and enjoyed coaching football to youth. He also loved the Discovery channel and anyone who knew him knew his love of animals. He enjoyed both gospel and rap music. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and watching his children and grandchildren grow up. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Charles and Edith Wade; bonus son Charles Deon Wade; bonus sister Miriam Wade; many more extended family members. He is survived by loving mother Sheila Palmer; bonus dad Jeff Palmer; father Kenneth (Bonnie) Hayes; bonus mom Sherry Lindsey; children Brooklyn (Darrin) Lindsey, Jonniqua (Antonio) Lindsey, Paris Lindsey Wade, Darien Lindsey Wade, SaDarea Wade, Charles Wade, Jr., and Coriwan Wade; grandchildren Darrin, Antonio, Jenasis, Nova, and Charles; many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. His family will receive friends on Monday, April 7, from 1-2pm at Living Waters Christian Fellowship, 1824 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, with his service to begin at 2pm.
