Christopher Warren Carle, AKA “Pops”, Born March 13, 1967 in Columbus, Ohio passed from this life on May 12, 2026.
He grew up in Canal Winchester, Ohio and attended school there along with Eastland Career Center, graduating in 1985.
Eastland is where he met Lisa, the love of his life, they just celebrated 40 years of marriage.
Chris was a salesman for over 30 years working with tile, marble, granite and wood products. He also decided to go back to school and he became Pops the barber.
Chris was an avid music lover, playing the trumpet and guitar. He enjoyed listening to music of all types, and was always looking for up and coming musicians. He loved rooting for the local artists just trying to make it, and loved seeing his favorite artists who already had.
He had a love affair with guitars, amps, and pedals, he never thought he had quite enough. His office and music room walls are lined with framed ticket stubs and band posters from the many shows he attended over the years. But the thing he most loved about music was talking with his boys about their music, going to shows with them, and just hanging out.
Chris also had a love affair with tattoos and spent many hours getting some amazing artwork.
He was a huge NBA and WNBA fan, he still has many VHS tapes from the Michael Jordan years. Every July was dedicated to Le Tour de France waiting to see who would wear the yellow jersey. Evenings consisted of watching one of the many teams he loved, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Guardians, The Ohio State Buckeyes, or the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Chris is proceeded in death by his mother Diana Carle, daughter Carson Alice, grandparents Howard and Catherine Carle, Nancy Rapp, Lutrelle and Hulda Rausch, aunts Pam Rapp, Polly Ortman, uncle Dennis Rapp, in laws George and Nancy Cox, brother-in-law Rev Daniel McGinnis, and sister-in-law Diana Linville.
He will be incredibly missed by his wife Lisa, sons Codee (Kallie) Carle, Cameron (Courtney) Carle, and the most amazing granddaughter a pops could ask for, Norah May Carle. Along with his best friends Shomo and Oshie. Parents Ralph and Janice Carle, brother Jonathan (Emily) Carle, sister Jennifer (JT) Taylor. Two nephews whom he thought were awesome, Lane and Weston Carle.
Brother-in-laws Glen (Karin) Cox, Ernie (Kim) Cox. Sister-in-laws Sandy (Ron) Gall, Cindy McGinnis, and Georgeanne Stevens. Many more nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Chris was a tissue donor and was able to help several people.
Please feel free to wear comfortable attire; your favorite band T-shirt would be perfect.
