Dale E. Baird

Dale E. Baird, 86, of Columbus, passed away on July 6, 2022. Dale was born on January 28, 1936 on a dairy farm outside of West Layfette, Ohio to James and Mary (Fowler) Baird. Dale attended the Ohio State University and was a Barber for more than 40 years. He was also an avid golfer who loved to be on the fairways. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara R. Baird; brother Col. David M. Baird U.S.A.F. Dale is survived by children Regina (Dennis) Haag of New York, Devery (Timothy) Bender of Arizona, and Bret Baird of Columbus; grandchildren Andrew Haag, Joshua (Lauren) Bender, and Caitlin Bender; brother in law William Elliott; many more nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. His family will receive friends on Saturday, July 30, from 1-2pm at Christ United Methodist Church,1480 Zettler Rd, Columbus, OH 43227, with his service to start at 2pm.
