David L. Allen

David L. Allen, 80, of Columbus, Ohio passed away May 10, 2024. He was born on March 9, 1944 in Cambridge, Ohio to the late Edgar and Ester (Book) Allen. 

David was a proud United States Army veteran that served during the Vietnam War. He attended Ohio University, earned his pilot's license, a proud teamster member and a trucker.  David dedicated 37 years as a member at World Harvest Church.  His dear friend, Elder Ed McKee, will be officiating his service.  

David is preceded in death by sisters Yvonne Myers, June Mortan and Jerry Watkins; brothers Kenneth (Margaret) Allen, Gene (Arlene) Allen. He is survived by daughters Amy (Jason) Rigsby, Teresa (Sammy) Kalb; grandchildren Logan, Liam, Luke, and Lillian Rigsby; sister Bonnie Lease and several nieces, nephews and friends.

His family will receive friends on Thursday, May 16 at Silent Home Cemetery, 1576 Lancaster Avenue, Reynoldsburg for a graveside service beginning at 2:00 P.M. with military honors.
