David James Buckenberger, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022. He was born January 9, 1961 to Biruta Buckenberger and the late James Buckenberger . David grew up loving nature as a result of many years spent on family vacations in Michigan (Traverse City and Interlochen) and at the family cabin at Hide-Away-Hills Resort in the Hocking Hills. David enjoyed fishing, boating, and motor biking around the hills. He had many varied interests including playing the saxophone and bassoon, his love of jazz music and corvettes, and flying radio controlled model airplanes with his Dad in the Tailspinners club which they did together for many years. He truly enjoyed his house and property in Harrison Township. David had a knack for cooking - he enjoyed trying new recipes and he loved to entertain. He really loved his family and friends and he had many who cared about him as evidenced by the frequent visitors during his recent month long hospital stay.
