David Alan Griffith

David Griffith, age 77, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2022. He was born on March 31, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Elwood Griffith and Kathleen Griffith. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Kay Whaley.

David is survived by his sister, Marge (nee Griffith) Deal. He is also survived by his niece, Lisa (Paul) Jackson of Naples, Florida, nephew, Scott Whaley of Columbus, Ohio and special friend, Jon Garner, of Columbus, Ohio as well as numerous cousins and relatives.

David is a graduate of Mifflin High School of 1963. He had had the opportunity to own his open cookware business and traveled extensively throughout Europe. His career included a long career as a Systems Analyst for the State of Ohio. David was a solid Buckeye fan and was fortunate to be able to attend 25 years of OSU games.

Family will welcome friends Thursday, September 22, 2022, from 6 to 8PM at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, OH 43068. His funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 23, 2022, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1051 Waggoner Rd. Reynoldsburg, OH  43068 with Fr. Dave Young officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
