Debra Jo Dellinger went to be with her Lord, and her husband of 45 years, on May 13, 2021, passing away at her home in Strongsville, OH at the age of 68. Debra’s greatest joy was her kids and grandchildren, which was reflected in her lifelong devotion to them. Debra took Jesus Christ as her Savior as a young woman, spending the rest of her adult life versing herself in scripture and ministering to others. Her faith and trust in God was unwavering, even in the most challenging of times. In death, she will be joining husband, William; father, David Whitton and grandson, Zachary Dellinger. She is survived by her mother, Joan Whitton; sister, Terrie Longhenry; children, Paxton (Jennifer) Dellinger, Joshua (Jessica) Dellinger and Heather (John) Hoch; grandmother to nine precious grandchildren: Justice, Lillian, Dominic, Ian, Henry, Evanna, Colton, Stella, and Leyla; aunt to many cherished nieces and nephews.
Debra’s family will receive friends on Thursday, May 20 from 5-7 pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where her funeral service will follow at 7 pm with Pastor Robert McCormack officiating. Graveside inurnment service for Debra will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio.
