Diane D. Peters

Diane D. Peters, 76, of Baltimore, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024.

Diane was preceded in death by her companion John Peters, step-daughter Teresa Peters, her parents Doris Decker and Donald Decker. Diane is survived by daughter Jenifer Arnold, son James Decker and step-daughter Wendy Hutchinson.

Diane graduated from Walnut Ridge High School in 1965 and worked in a variety of occupations including graphic design and human resources. Often described as a wild child she was a woman full of spirit who loved to dance and sing. It is possible that Diane watched Dirty Dancing more times than anyone, ever. An avid animal lover, her family often joked that she possessed the “Doolittle Gene” because every animal loved her and considered her a friend. Diane spent the eighties and nineties showing and raising champion Australian shepards. She also operated a keepsake business from the family farm in Baltimore Ohio. Later in life, Diane loved to travel and play poker, often traveling around the country to play in tournaments with John.

Diane's family will receive friends on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
