Dolores Union Obituary

Dolores Faye Union passed away peacefully at home on June 7, 2025, at the age of 87. Born and raised in Cambridge, Ohio, Dolores lived a life rooted in family, hard work, and generosity. She moved to Columbus with her loving husband George, where she began her career with Ohio Bell. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who gave her time and love freely. She worked well into her late 70s and always made sure her family was well cared for.

She is survived by her sons, George “Mike” Union and Kevin Union (Kate Langlois), and her granddaughters, Tori Union and Brandi Union, daughters of Christine Union and Kevin. She was preceded in death by George.

Family meant everything to Dolores. Her presence was a constant source of comfort and care—strong yet gentle, humble yet deeply impactful. She lived for her loved ones and provided for them in every way she could, always putting others before herself. Tori and Brandi’s dogs Sophie and Bonsai brought her joy and constant companionship, and she loved her weekly trips to Scioto Downs with family. In our sorrow, we find comfort knowing she is at peace, reunited with her beloved George, and watching over us with the same love she gave so freely in life.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
