Donald Hubert Smitson

Donald Hubert Smitson, age 89 of Pickerington OH went to be with his Lord, on Thursday April 27th,2023. He was born on October 21st 1933. He was a 1952 graduate of Green Township High School Scioto Co. After graduation he enlisted in the Army where he served as a paratrooper.  He retired from Columbus Coated fabrics. He was preceded in death by his parents Denzel and Ottilee Smitson, his brother Ronald David Smitson, and Granddaughter Rosa Ottilee Smitson. He is survived in death by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years Patricia Ann (McCray) Smitson, his two loving children Donald (Toni) Smitson and Pamela (Bill) Melton, his loving grandchildren Isaac Smitson, Kenneth (Victoria) Smitson, Hazel (Devin) Dobyns, Elizabeth Melton, William (Asha) Melton, Bradley Melton, His loving great-grandchildren Ainsley, Keegan, Rowan, Lillie-Mae, Paisleigh, Winnie, Emery, Olivia, Logan, Sophia, Wesley. He is also survived by numerous loving extended family members. Visitation will be will be held on Saturday May 6th, 2023 at from 3-5 pm at Cotner Funeral Home with a service of remembrance at 4:00 p.m. Services will be officiated by Kenneth Smitson
