Donna Rutherford

Donna Rutherford, 74, passed away on July 29, 2022 at her home. Her husband, children, grandchildren and the church were most important to her. She enjoyed traveling, jigsaw puzzles, Blue Jackets Hockey, and baking Christmas cookies. Donna held a Medical Assistant Certification and an Associates of Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assisting from Central Ohio Technical College. She worked in a variety of roles including a Medical Assistant, construction, a Physical Therapist Assistant, and a Worker’s Compensation Case Examiner and Team Lead. Donna was an active member of Unity Presbyterian Church and she was a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Cora Doty as well as her sister, Melva Snyder. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Joseph Rutherford; children, Diana Montgomery (Eric Vazquez), Alicia (Ron) Nicodemus, Kara Bodle (Paul Brown) and stepdaughter Laura (Derek) Faulkner; grandchildren, MacKenzie O’Flaherty, Zachary O’ Flaherty, Megan Montgomery, Cameron Montgomery, Alexyss Bodle, Ethan Montgomery, Brayden Faulkner, and Avery Faulkner; brother, Roger Doty.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Unity Presbyterian Church 6969 E. Livingston Ave Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Viewing will be at 10 am with a service to follow at 11 am. Memorial Contributions can be made to Unity Presbyterian Church 6969 E. Livingston Ave Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068.
