Doris Evelyn Riffle

Doris E Riffle of Reynoldsburg, Ohio passed on Tuesday April 12, 2022. She is survived by her sister, Nancy; three children, Randy, Jeff, and Susan; grandchildren, Micah, Jeremy, Joseph, and Stan; great-grandchildren, Katy, Eian, Xavier, Llewyn, Zoe, Hailey, and Kierstan.

Born in 1931, Doris left a home full of siblings in Parkersburg, WV. at the age of 15.  Soon after she began her life with Gaylord and they left West Virginia for opportunities in Ohio.  Doris worked for the Post Office and Lazarus during her career in central Ohio. She was a giving person that looks for ways to help others in any way possible. She started with very little and built a wonderful life for her family raising their 3 children in Pataskala and Reynoldsburg while spending time on Lake Erie in the summer and winters in Florida.

We will miss her smile and sweet kind demeanor and we are all grateful for the life she gave us.

Her graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, in their chapel,  5600 East Broad Street, Columbus, on Saturday, May 7th at 1pm.
