Douglas Vickers

Douglas Van Vickers peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus early in the morning on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025, at the age of 67.

Doug was a second generation owner of Vick’s Gourmet Pizza with his wife. He was known over the years for his thoughtfulness to customers as they picked up their weekly pizza order, making them feel special and known. His ornery personality and love for music was a bright light in our community and to his friends and family. His smile, singing, jokes, and reminders of how much he cared for us will deeply be missed.

Douglas is preceded in death by his father, Hollis, his mother, Louise, and his brother, Hal. He was survived by his wife, Charlotte, his daughters, Tara (Brian) and Christene (Andrew), and his grandchildren Lexus, Erin, Benton, Emlyn, Aydah, Jaddeus, and Hollis.

The family will receive guests to remember and honor Douglas on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 25th, 2025 at Vick’s Gourmet Pizza, 7345 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg. Please visit the shops Facebook page for future updates.
