Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas Rowe, Sr. of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. He went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at age 65. Doug passed away surrounded by his family after a long, painful illness.
Survived by his loving wife of 14 years (together 20) Kimberley Rowe; 5 children: sons Steven Rowe, Douglas (Mariea) Rowe, Jr., daughter Alaina (Robert) Miller, daughters through marriage Melissa Kauffman, and Holly (Christopher) Kraut, Mother Doris Rowe; brother Donald (Susan) Rowe, Jr, and sister Diane (Stephen) Elek; 11 grandchildren Logan Snedegar, Emily (Tyler) Listebarger, Corben Stoughton, Rachel Stoughton; Shane Stiffler, Robert “Robbie” Miller, Jr., Donovan Kauffman, Austin Rowe, Kaden Tucker, Dechlan Kauffman, and Avery Rowe. Preceded in death by his father Donald Rowe, Sr.
Doug attended Gahanna Lincoln HS, and earned his GED while serving in the Army. He completed three years of college working towards an Engineering Degree. He had the capability and knowledge to do most anything.
His laugh was so infectious that if you knew him, you’d laugh too because he loved making everyone else laugh with him.
A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Noon at New Horizons Community Church, 2100 Reynoldsburg-New Albany Road, Blacklick, OH 43004.
