E. Eugene "Gene" Crosby

E. Eugene “Gene” Crosby, 94, passed away peacefully at his residence on October 24, 2022. Gene was born in Toledo, OH on November 17, 1927, to the late Elmer and Geraldine (Matzinger) Crosby. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Rose Marie Green and his son, Steve Crosby.

Gene was a member of the Reynoldsburg Masonic Lodge #340 F&AM, the Walnut Chapter #172 Royal Arch Masons and Columbus Council #8 of Royal and Select Masons. Gene’s favorite hobby was enjoying his model train collection.

Gene is survived by his loving wife, Betty Crosby; children, David (Diane) Crosby, Kenneth (Lori) Crosby, Karen (Keith) Priddy and Jeffrey Grayam; grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Jensen, Bryan (Jenna) Crosby, Melissa (Jason) Hensler, Marty (Andrea) Crosby, Michelle (Greg Hahn, fiancée) Runions and Laura (Alonso Ramos, fiancée) Grayam; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly McGuire.

Gene’s family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 6 to 8PM at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, OH, with Masonic Lodge #340 F&AM service held at 7:30PM. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 10:30AM at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, 1636 Graham Rd. Reynoldsburg, OH with Pastor Bob Mathias officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
