Edith Marie Smith

Edith Marie Smith, born in Walla Walla, Washington August 12, 1924 died December 25, 2021 at the age of 97, at The Inn at Summit Trail where she resided since March 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, brother, Donald Morley, grandsons, John Rainey Yearwood and Anthony Rugh, great-grandson, John Alysander Day and parents, John and Edith Morley. She is survived by her children, John (Nancy) Yearwood of California, Cheryl (Jim) Wright of North Carolina, Melanie Lincoln of North Carolina, Karen (Michael) Rugh of Mechanicsburg, Jeffrey (Janie) Smith of Reynoldsburg, Laurie (Scott) Wallake of Etna, and her sister Geraldine Kredel of California, as well as 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family will receive visitors at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, on Wednesday, December 29th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with service immediately following. Interment at Glen Rest Cemetery.
