Elizabeth Ann Kennedy was born on September 23, 1944, to Elenor Gillert in London, England. Elizabeth, also known as “NuNu” by those who loved her, was a life-long, fulfilled mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Liz spent most days relaxing with a cup of tea and a juicy magazine, watching her classic movies and TV shows. She loved to sit and watch Dr. Pimple Popper with her son. She was famously known for cooking a good roast beef and roasted potato dinner for her family and watching a good boxing match.
Elizabeth sadly departed her earthbound body the morning of April 29, 2024, after a battle with Alzheimer’s at the age of 79. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Jane Johnson (Robert), and loving sons, Mark Johnson Sr., and Adam Jerome Kennedy Sr. (Rebel), Grandchildren: Rakia Harrison, Mark Johnson Jr., Savion Johnson, Christian Johnson, Jadelyn Young, Kriesa Kennedy (Chastin), Jayanna Kennedy, and Adam Jerome Kennedy Jr. Great-grandchildren: Malaysia Harrison, Eliora Rhea, Milan Johnson, Kenadie Buggs, Ramon Buggs, Savion Rhea Jr., Xeus Kennedy, Madelyn Young, Chastynn and Chiyanne Canady, and Brian Dorsey Jr.
Liz was preceded in death by her mother, Elenor Gillert, daughter, Evelyn Martina Kennedy, and great-granddaughter, Summer Janella Buggs.
Her family will receive friends on Friday, May 10, from 10-11am at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, with her funeral service to begin at 11am.
