Esther Maria Grimm

Esther Maria Grimm, 75, of Columbus passed away in the early morning on Wednesday September 3, 2025 very peacefully in her sleep. 

She was born December 19,1949 in the country of Panama in Central America. She moved to the United States at age 19 after meeting her future husband William D. Grimm whom was stationed in Panama with the US Army.  She taught herself to read, write and speak English by watching tv and also by attending cooking classes. She loved God, reading the Bible and singing the gospel. She never met a stranger because it was always an opportunity to share God’s love and her love for them. She loved to tell jokes and often at times couldn’t tell them without laughing really hard first. 

She is survived by her two children Kimberly M. Grimm and Gabriel W. Grimm. She was blessed with dear friends, whom she cherished. 

She will be deeply missed and live forever in our hearts.
