Frank John Thomas, Jr., 75, of Parma, Ohio passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021. He was born in East Cleveland, Ohio on November 19, 1946 to Frank John Thomas, Sr. and Coletta (Smith) Thomas. Frank worked for many years as a salesman around Cleveland, but his pride and joy came from being a stay at home dad with his son Frank. Known to so many as “Pops,” you could find him around town having a drink with a buddy, or making a joke that no matter how cheesy always made people smile. More than anything, Pops was an authentic person who always told you how it was. Even in times when he had nothing, he would always find a way to give you a gift or a helping hand. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Marilyn. Frank will truly be missed by his son Frank Matthew (April) Thomas; grandsons Jaxon & Christian; sister Joann (Steve) Schultz; ex-wife and continued friend Theresa Uthoff, and her family Helen Jastrzembowski & Bob Jastrzembowski; niece and nephew Brian and Brittany (Ian) Schultz; a host of friends. Frank’s funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 29, at 10am at St. Bridget of Kildare Parish, 5620 Hauserman Road, Parma, Ohio 44130. Donations may be made in Frank’s memory to a local charity of your choice.
