Gabriel "Gabe" Joseph Catena, Sr.

Gabriel "Gabe" Joseph Catena, Sr, 60, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to Gabriel and Eileen Catena. He was a landscaper for a long time, and later in life became a caregiver to a close family friend. Gabe was a sport fanatic and loved his Dallas Cowboys. He loved to drink, and was always the “life of the party.” He will be greatly missed by all he made smile. Gabe went home to join his parents; his longtime girlfriend Pam; his brother John; his sister Judy; and dogs Sheena and Dallas. He leaves behind his loving son Gabriel Joseph Catena II “Joey” and his wife Aimee Catena; grandchildren Jaylyn, Dominic, Brooklyn, and Pauly Catena; many more nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a host of close friends.

His family will receive friends to visit on Saturday, December 27, 4:00 p.m. ~ 6:00 p.m. at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg. Donations in his memory may be made to Cotner Funeral Home by calling 614.866.6318 to help family with final expenses.
