Gary H. McCreary

Gary H. McCreary, 73, of Whitehall, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 with his loving wife and family by his side. He was born on September 29, 1951 to the late Herbert and Wilma McCreary.

Gary was known by all as a hard and diligent worker. He was dedicated to his loved ones and his job. He worked for the JL Poured Walls for 37 years. Gary was such a funny guy! He was not just the life of the party, he was the party! He, also, enjoyed going on cruises with his beautiful wife, Debra, and loved seeing her happy.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debra (Emert) McCreary; son Gary A. McCreary (Kristin); daughters Deborah (Jeff) Williams, Carla (Gary) Swickard, Laura Huffman Russell; sons Gary Huffman, Michael Williams; brother John Burke (Brenda), sisters Theresa (Joel) Dennis, Patricia Burke; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and many loving family and friends.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Wilma McCreary (Gibson); sisters Janet Kuehner and Bobbi Burke.

Gary's family will receive friends on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, OH, where his funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m.
