George Alzner

George Alzner, 90, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2021. George was born on June 11, 1931 in Botsch, Romania to the late Johann and Susanne Alzner. George was also preceded in death by his wife, Sara Alzner; sister, Susie Moldovan and brother, Johann Alzner.

George left his homeland when he was 21 years of age. He was a builder and construction worker and was self employed. He was a member of the Alliance of Transylvanian Saxons. He was a lover of boating, camping and gardening.

George is survived by his two daughters, Helga Alzner and Sara (Stephen) Brown; grandchildren, Sara Stowe, Warren (Ann) Stowe, Jessica Yurasek, Lark Phillips and Michael Archambault; great-grandchildren, Alex and Willa Stowe, Landon and Avery Yurasek.

George’s family will gather for visiting on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 5 to 7PM at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, OH.
