Geraldine F. Tackett

Geraldine Tackett, 90, of Gahanna, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Gerry was born on July 5, 1935 in Huntington, West Virginia to Martha and Ezra Flora. She was a devoted Christian and for many years shared her faith as a Sunday school teacher and expressed her love of flowers through her vibrant gardens.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents Martha and Ezra, brothers James and David Flora, sister Ruthann Vinfrock, and grandson Shannon Stepp. She is survived by sister Doris (Bill) Cox, sons James (Karen) Chaney and Thomas Tackett, daughters Catherine Stepp and Victoria (Thomas) Felix, grandsons James (Emily) Stepp, Brian (Olivia) Stepp, Timothy and Dakota Felix, granddaughters Nicole Tackett and Kristen (Radek Pech) Tackett, and great grand children Shawn, Ella, Noah, Alex, Ollie, Fiona and Seifer.

Geraldine's family will receive friends on Monday, February 16, 2026 from 6 to 8:00pm at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, OH. Her family will also receive friends on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 10 to 11:00am at the Jersey Baptist Church, 13260 Morse Rd. SW, New Albany, OH where her funeral service will be held at 11:00am with Pastor Matt Read officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
