Gerry Scott Anspach, 66, passed away on November 11, 2021 at Mount Carmel East surrounded by family. Gerry was born August 21, 1955 in northern Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Hayford.
Gerry had moved back to Ohio from Texas and was reconnected with his Ohio family. He worked as a bridge builder and was contracted all over the Eastern side of the country. Many of the bridges in Ohio were from his design. Gerry loved the Cleveland Browns and looked forward to sharing snacks with his great nieces Aubrey, Aaliyah and Quinlan. He also loved hunting and telling the stories of his big game expeditions. He will be greatly missed.
Gerry is survived by his sister Kathleen Gates-Price, his brother Gary (Linda) Steif, daughter Nicole Anspach; nieces and nephews Kari Steif, Matthew (Alyssa) Steif, Kim Earl, Donald (Amelia) Frick, Gerald (Abigail) Frick, Caleb Gates; and great nieces Aubrey Gates, Aaliyah Gates, Quinlan Frick and Ariana Frick.
Arrangements under the care of Cotner Funeral Home. Memorial for Gerry will be held at the home he and his sister Kathleen shared in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
