H. Virginia Saylor

H. Virginia Saylor, 92, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on April 4, 2022. Virginia was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 10, 1930. She married the love of her life, L.E. "Bud" Saylor on April 26, 1948. Virginia retired from the Franklin County Auditor’s Office Parcel Room where she was referred to as “the general.” She is preceded in death by parents Brice Brown and Maude (Williams) Brown; husband L.E. "Bud" Saylor; son Stephen Saylor; granddaughter Jennifer Saylor; and special friend Gerald Johnson. She is survived by loving son Craig (Leslee) Saylor; daughter in law Carol Saylor; grandchildren Stephanie (Shawn) Lingofelter and Alison (Andrew) Candela; great-grandchildren Addison Lingofelter, Sophia and Grace Candela; special friend Claudene Johnson; many more extended family and friends. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, April 10, from 4-7 p.m. at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where her funeral service will be held on Monday, April 11, at 10am., Pastor Maxine Smith-Pierce officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. Box 12036, Columbus, Ohio 43212. Her family wants to thank the staff at Wesley Ridge, Wesley Ridge Hospice, and Truro Township Fire Department for their care during the last few years. They would also like to send a special thanks to Community Paramedic Sarrah Muroski for her extraordinary work to care for Virginia and the elderly community.
