Helen C. Tooth, 85, of Reynoldsburg, passed away Friday, August 21, 2020. She was born August 16, 1935 in Atlanta, Georgia. She worked for Delta as a stewardess for many years before she worked at Newport News Shipyard and met her husband Richard. Her and Richard were married on May 5, 1962. Helen also spent some time at DeVry as a registrar. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed playing games with family as well as her friends at both the Reynoldsburg Senior Center and her current residence the Villas at Saint Therese. Helen enjoyed things like reading the newspaper, shopping, traveling with her husband, and watching classical movies; especially Doctor Zhivago so that she could listen to her favorite, Lara's Theme Song. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend, and neighbor who will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard S. Tooth; father Otis Cochran; mother Lucile (Jenks) Johnson; siblings Franklin Cochran, Mary Frances Cowart, Freddie Cochran, and Farris Cochran; and granddaughter Autumn Grace Ahsan. Helen is survived by her son Stephen of Crescent City, CA; daughters Stephanie (Marc) Lakovits of Ellijay, GA and Patricia (Joseph) Boyle of Johnstown; granddaughters Kristin (Brian) Hupp, Samantha (Ryan) Copeman, Sydney, and Maya Ahsan; great-granddaughter Riley Grace; sister Janie Styles; sister-in-law Jeanette Tooth of Melrose Park, IL; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Her family will be having private services under the care of Cotner Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of her life service held at a later date.
