Hind Astafan

Hind Astafan, 86, of Pickerington passed away Saturday, November 22 surrounded by her loving family.

Hind was the devoted and faithful wife of Issa Makhoul for 55 happy years, together they built a loving family and raised 6 children. She was an elegant lady, who always shared a genuine smile and never ever had an unkind word for anyone. Her passing is truly a loss for those who knew her, in such uncertain times her gentle soul will be sadly missed.

Preceded in death by her husband Issa Makhoul, and survived by her children Nidal, Seham, George, Nabil, Amy (Elham) and Tony. Survived by a younger sister Nawal, son and daughter in laws Andy, Yara, Angie, Mari, and Roula. Hind was blessed to have 9 grandchildren whom she adored, Paul, Rachael, Joelle, Philippe, Hend, Sophie, Nicholas, Anthony, and Mila. 

Service and burial will take place on Wednesday, November 26 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery,11539 National Rd SW, Pataskala, OH 43062.
