Obituary
James (Jim) Joseph Arp, Jr., 86, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023. Jim was born June 22, 1937 in Painesville, Ohio to the late James and Carmelita (Bertone) Arp. He is survived by his sons Chris and Bryan (Mischa); grandchildren Michael (Irina), Megan, and Josh; great grandchildren Leo and Maddie.
Jim spent his entire life in Ohio between Painesville, Ashtabula, and Reynoldsburg. He was a lifelong sports fan and loved watching his children and grandchildren play athletics. Jim was a US Army Veteran and spent two decades working for Anheuser Busch. Post-retirement he spent time with his family and various jobs in the community before returning to Painesville to care for his mother and sister in their later years.
The family will hold a private remembrance of his life. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
