Jeffery Allen Siegel, of Columbus OH, age 75, died August 2, 2022. Born in Youngstown, OH on June 10, 1947, to the late Harry and Celia Siegel. Jeff was a passionate fisherman and outdoorsman, a bibliophile, a life-long Cleveland Indians fanatic, a motorcyclist who took many rides across the country, and a crossword puzzle enthusiast. Jeff graduated from Walnut Ridge High School in 1965. He then joined the Marine Corps in 1966, served in the Vietnam War as a Helicopter Mechanic and achieved the rank of Sergeant before his honorable discharge in 1971. Jeff continued his career with the USPS and after 42 years of service, retired in 2010. Preceded in death by brothers, Richard, and Louis; nephew, Joel. Survived by his daughter, Jenifer (Brad); brother, Bob (Paula); sisters-in-law, Holly, and Toni; nieces, Janet (Eddie), Lisa, and Samantha; nephews, Matt, Scott, and Brian (Angela); and a large extended family. A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the Ravines of McNaughten Clubhouse, 6000 Elm Bluff Way Columbus, OH 43213 from 12-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to redcross.org or amvets.org
