Jeffrey Scott Paulsen

Jeff Paulsen, 56, was born on March 22nd, 1969, to Charlene and Wes Paulsen. He might have been born in Tawas City, Michigan; however, his allegiance has always been to the Scarlett and Grey. Jeff was an avid Ohio State Football fan and enjoyed talking about the games with family and friends. He often would call the plays and predict the outcome of the game, which was not appreciated by Lea.

Jeff is survived by his daughter, Emily, who shares his beautiful blue eyes and quick wit, and her mother, Lea Paulsen. He is also survived by his mother, Charlene, his brother, Jason (Eileen) Paulsen, Kathy Kasavage, Malinda (Jim) Woodring, Kathy Burns, and Freddie Paulsen. He has several nieces and nephews whom he loved to tease and brag about: Tanner, Colton, Lexi, and Jason. He was preceded in death by his father, Wes Paulsen, Carolyn Paulsen, and Kristy Creager.

Jeff was a man with an ambitious and inventive mind. He was always thinking up new ideas for products to help improve the lives of everyone. Jeff enjoyed helping those around him by mowing his neighbors’ lawns or by helping to fix broken things. He had a heart of gold and a giving personality. In high school Jeff was known for his fashionable style, gold jewelry, car audio stereo system, and his unbeatable arm wrestling technique. He could take down giants! When Emily was born, she became his princess. As a young child, he made sure to take his little princess on dates to Chuck E. Cheese and Magic Mountain every week. He is to blame for her love of Cotton Candy, Sneakers, and Jewelry. We can never say he didn’t spoil his princess. Jeff will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
