Jeffrey Alan Rieser

Jeffrey Rieser, 61, of Reynoldsburg, died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 25, 2021. Born on May 6, 1960 in Columbus OH, to William and Margaret Rieser. Jeff was one of seven siblings and loved each of them immensely and unconditionally. Jeff graduated from Bishop Hartley and went on to attend and graduate from Capital University. He played baseball for many years throughout childhood, high school and college. He also loved, and at times disliked, the game of golf which he shared with close friends, brother Bill and his son Adam. He was an Electrician by trade, originally working for a family owned company, Rieser Electric. He was last employed with McKeever & Niekamp where he would occasionally work with his brother Bill and nephew Zack. Jeff lived in Reynoldsburg where he and his wife Laurianne raised their two children, Adam and Alyssa. Many busy years were spent encouraging and supporting their kids many activities. The past five years have been all about their grandchildren. They loved Grayson and Adalynn Rieser fiercely. They brought so much joy into their lives and loved being grandparents. Jeff was preceded in death by his wife Laurianne Rieser, parents William and Margaret Rieser, brothers Michael Rieser and Patrick Rieser, who he joins now in the Kingdom of Heaven. Jeff is survived by son Adam Rieser and daughter-in-law Ashley Rieser, their children Grayson and Adalynn, daughter Alyssa Rieser, sister Sue Gramlich(Mark), brothers Chuck Rieser(Barb), Bill Rieser(Terry), Rob Rieser(Wendy), many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He always had an infectious smile and was quick witted, made others feel like they mattered and was simply a great man. Let us remember the smile and warmth he shared with everyone he came across and keep his memory alive by emulating that very same love.
