With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jessica Jean {Dispenza) Bird. To know Jessica is not only to love her, but when you hear her name or allow a memory to cross your mind, we guarantee you she left you laughing with her jokes, teasing and crazy sense of humor. Jessica was always pranking or pulling an April fools joke on us, no matter how challenging the day was she found a way to make someone else smile even if she was struggling to smile herself. Jessica was very open with her feelings and she always let the world know how proud she is of her children and how much she loves them. Jessica has always had a strong support system and has faced many challenges head-on, including beating breast cancer's ass. Jessica was creative and used her art to comfort her soul and has authored many beautiful poems and expressive drawings. Jessica is a different person to everyone who knows her and is cherished in many different ways. Jessica is a beloved mother, a cherished daughter, loving grandmother, a supportive friend, and a vivacious soul whose presence brought life to all who knew her. Sadly, we announce she departed this world on April 2, 2025, but her kindness, her memory and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who love her.
Though she was not deeply religious, she held a quiet belief that this life was just one step in a greater journey. She found comfort in the idea that the love we give and receive carries on in ways beyond our understanding. In that spirit, we find solace knowing she is at peace—somewhere beautiful, somewhere free.
Madre was known for her competitivenes on family game nights. She always told "Porketa" and "Bubba" they were going DOWN! Madre aka Mum always had to win. She had a passion for shopping, gaming and her love of music. Jessica sang and listened to a variety of music from Phantom of Opera to Narcos. Jessica was a loving, caring soul but also balanced it out with her sense of dark humor. Jessica always told her children to "Always Be Strong" , "Never Give Up" and she left us all with this lasting imprint.
She is survived by Mother, Doria J. Singleton-Whitlatch {Dana}, Father Kenneth Mark Dispenza , Step Father Martin Corse , Son Michael Dakota Bird {Michelle} , Daughter - Mickaylah Cheyenne Angela Bird {Nick Young} and Many loving grandchidren Oliver Blake, Braxton Easterday, Justin Blake, Declan Young.
