Jewell Ann Swackhamer

Jewell  Ann Swackhamer, 65, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio entered in the Kingdom of Heaven on Friday, January 23, 2026. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, David Swackhamer. They were married on July 7, 1995. Jewell is also survived by her brother: Jack (Carol) Burchett; father-in-law: Robert L. Swackhamer; sister-in-laws: Kristi (Mark) Jordan, Roxy (Tim) Geiger and Toni (Rusty) Edwards; brother-in-laws: Greg (Christy) Swackhamer and Alan Swackhamer; and many other close family and friends.

Jewell is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Joyce Burchett; mother-in-law Nancy Swackhamer; brother-in-law Jeffrey Swackhamer; and many of her sweet puppies.

She graduated from Madison Plains High School. Jewell was a member of the international brotherhood of electrical workers Local Union 683. She was a very dedicated worker. In Jewell’s free time she loved caring for her plants, hiking, camping, watching old western films and enjoyed music. Some of her fondest memories are her times traveling with Dave. They enjoyed many adventures over the years. Whether it was the tropics in Jamaica, Bourbon Street in New Orleans, their time in beautiful, warm Bradenton, Florida or at a music concert. Jewell and Dave knew the importance of living life to the fullest and they enjoyed their 30 years together as a married couple.

Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 4, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Her memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 5, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., at Reynoldsburg Church of Christ, 1649 Graham Road, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
