Joanna "Joanne" Lilian Napier

Joanna "Joanne" Lilian Napier, 66, of Youngstown, Ohio (born in Goochland Virginia), went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

She was born on July 1, 1957 to James Grover Napier and Angel Henderson. Joanne loved reading her Bible and had a very close relationship with God. She loved music, singing, dancing and vacationing. Her family meant so much to her, and she truly enjoyed all of the special time that she got with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her soulmate Bernard Bell; and children Amber Bruno, Dontae Napier, and Lawyer Napier. Joanne is survived by children Valerie Napier, Robert Napier, Angel & son-in-law Shaun Kelley, and Antwone & wife (Kelly) Napier; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings Hazel Napier, Mary Angel, Evelyn, Albert Earl Napier, Grover Napier, Carl Jackson, Joseph Napier, Robert and Emaly Henderson; with many more extended family and friends.

Her family will receive friends on Saturday, April 26th from 3-5pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, with her memorial service to begin at 5pm.
