Obituary

Joanne Lee DePalma, 89, passed away peacefully at her residence on January 26, 2021. Joanne was born on July 31, 1931 in Chillicothe, OH to the late Russell A. “Cotton” and Martha Louise (Ackley) Timmons. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Russell Timmons and her sister, Mary Lou Krumm.

Joanne is survived by her beloved son, Gary (Dawn) DePalma and loving daughter, Lisa (Chris) Fankhauser; grandchildren, Gary DePalma II, Madison Fankhauser and Isabelle Fankhauser; brother, Dr. Jack (Melody) Timmons.

Joanne was a USA-1 Real Estate Agent who enjoyed gardening and painting. She was a former Miss Ohio, as well as a devoted mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Her family will hold a Celebration of Life on Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main St. Reynoldsburg, OH from 6:00 to 7:00pm. Private inurnment Brown Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg, Ohio.
