John L. Carson

John Carson, age 56, passed away on August 13th, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on November 18th, 1967. He is preceded in death by his mother, Velma Hysell and sister, Jeri. He is survived by his wife, Mary Carson; son, Travis (Ashley) Carson; daughter, Chelsea Carson and grandsons; Tanner and Colton.

John was a graduate of Walnut Ridge and proudly attended the Ohio State University. He enjoyed golfing, the Cleveland Indians, the Cincinnati Bengals, OSU football, natty light & Lucky Strikes. He worked proudly for Savko & Sons for 13 years where he met some of his closest friends. John had a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh. He was hardheaded and soft hearted. He enjoyed making everyone laugh, even if he wasn’t trying.

He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. May he live on through his children’s beautiful blue eyes and their caring hearts.
