John F. Davis, 66, of Columbus, Ohio passed away, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at his home. John was born on January 12th, 1957 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Jim and Jay (Raitano) Davis. He was actively enjoying the retired life after spending 40+ years in the insurance business prior to his passing. He was an avid landscaper and took great pride in both his yard and his flowers. In his spare time, he also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his loving wife, Nancy, and his faithful companion, King.
John is survived by his wife of 28 years, Nancy, two daughters Christy (Cliff) Ridgway and Brandy (Jason) Jones, three sons Tony (Sheena) Davis, Szhon (Brandi) Harrow, and Joshua (Danielle) Harrow, two brothers Jim Davis and Jack (Julie) Davis, sister JoAnne (Randy) Proehl, 15 grandchildren, a great-grandson, multiple nieces, nephews, friends, and his dog King. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Jay Davis.
John's family will receive friends on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 6 to 8PM at the Cotner Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 10:30AM with Pastor Ben York officiating. Internment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
