Joseph “Joe” Francis O’Neal, 59, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025.

He was born on November 20, 1965 in Columbus, Mississippi. He was a jack of all trades, and a skilled carpenter. He loved fishing and hunting.

Joe was preceded in death by his loving parents Jack and Mary O’Neal, his brother Stephen O’Neal; niece Angel Stinson; and brother in law Jim Laugherty.

Joe is survived by his children Tyler O’Neal, Ashley O’Neal, and Melissa (Brendon) Landis; siblings, Chris Laugherty, Jack O’Neal, Jr., Sunny (Bill) Majoy, Laura O’Neal, Paula O’Neal, Anna (Mike) Lush, and Patty (Brady) Ray; grandchildren Brayden O’Neal, Kylie O’Neal, Elaina Madison and Hudson Landis; nieces and nephews, Traci Stinson (James), Allison Lush, Michael O’Neal and great nieces and nephews Jordan Stinson, Faith Stinson, and Jamisyn Stinson.

Joseph’s family will be having private services under the care of Cotner Funeral Home.
