Julie Ann Morgan, passed away Sunday, September 26th, 2021 at home in the care of hospice with her husband, Bob Jones by her side. Julie had battled pancreatic cancer for the last seven months. She was 64.
Julie was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia December 28th, 1956, the youngest child of the late Douglas and Ruth Mills Morgan. She is preceded in death by her brother, Randy Morgan. After graduating from Parkersburg High School, she attended West Liberty College in Wheeling, WV, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in English. Julie was a retired secretary in the Reynoldsburg City Schools where she left her mark on countless students, teachers and school personnel over the years.
Julie is survived by her husband, Bob Jones; daughters, Amelia Garcia (Fernando) and Hannah Liebreich; granddaughter, Laura Garcia; stepdaughters, Kelly Jones and Becca Schalip; sisters, Angela Folio (Terry) and Nancy Cales (Ed) and former husband, Lyle Liebreich. She leaves behind nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great- nephews as well as cousins she loved dearly. Family held such an important place in Julie's heart. Her favorite times were spent enjoying time with family and close friends. To quote the late John Lennon, "All you need is love.”
Julie’s family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 6 to 8:00pm at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main St. Reynoldsburg, OH.
A memorial service for Julie will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 12 Noon at the Church of the Redeemer United Methodist Church, 235 McNaughten Rd. Columbus, OH 43213 with Pastor Bob Baugher officiating.
