Kathryn Faye Ruark

Kathryn Faye Ruark, age 85, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, graduated from Ohio University, was a member of New Boston Church of the Nazarene, and was an elementary teacher for 24 years in the Waverly School District. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Myrtle (Shaw) Keyser, husband John Ruark, Sr., son John (Marnie) Ruark, Jr., 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her son James (Glenna) Ruark; grandchildren Lori (Michael) Koryak, James, Jr. (Brooklyn McCue), William, and Samuel; great-grandchildren Luci, Grace, and Luke. A memorial service will be held Monday at 4 p.m. at the Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 E. Main Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help assist with her final expenses.
